I finally started playing Journey ... I know I'm late to the party, but that hasn't stopped me from coming across wonderful companions on my playthroughs.

Journey is one of the greatest games I've ever played. Ever. Hands down. It makes me feel all the things, so I just wanted to scribble out a quick little doodle for it.

I really oughta do a full piece, but this will do for now.

I too was late to start playing, but it has become one of my all-time favorite games, and I can't stop playing. It's a new experience each time depending on the person you are playing with. It's fantastic and beautiful, and so is this fan art!!

I played this game. :dance: It was a great journey. And your artwork is nicely done. :nod: When I played there was only one player as my companion. I liked the climax near the end where we suddenly get to speedily climb up that tall mountain with many waterfalls or something.

Yeah, I've been through a couple playthroughs where I stick with one companion the whole way. It makes the experience very striking, especially when they also want to work as a team and have fun.

I love that level, when you finally rise above the storm and basically get to play through a cutscene, haha.

This is gorgeous, and the simplicity of the experiment was fantastic. I only played with one douche, most of the time I just had fun partnering with strangers.

I've been lucky so far and haven't come across any idiots. C: I haven't even switched up companions during a single playthrough ... I've found them in the first area and we go til the end. Although now that I've said that, I'm sure that'll change, haha. How was that one stranger of yours douchey?

He kept running ahead and never waited for me. I even watched him get his ass kicked during the last phase up the mountain. There was no attempt at communication, teamwork, he didn't care if he got damaged, nothing. It's like he was on a speedrun, but I could tell by his robes that he was doing his first play through.

It was so lame, and it made me feel pretty alone thanks to the game's atmosphere at the end.

My second playthrough was way more satisfying.

Wow, what a turd. I suppose you could've just let him get far enough away that he de-synced from your playthrough. o: That sucks, but I'm glad your next game was better!

*3* I got my white robe last night, I can't waaait to play again, haha.

I actually tried to let him get way ahead of me, but it never de-synced. :C
I don't think it works on the last level.
